Jan Lucas

Jan knows firsthand that leading with passion makes a difference, so she fosters a fun environment of creativity and innovation that makes the biggest impact on her team, business and community. 

As Vice President, Sourcing & Strategic Partnerships for Sage Hotel Management, Jan harnesses the significant buying power across all four of our companies to identify strategic procurement partnership opportunities and drive greater efficiencies across the board. She additionally spearheads a number of our most important environmental conservation and social impact efforts across the portfolio and is personally on a mission to eliminate all single-use plastic from our businesses. 

Since joining us in 2003, Jan has held several general manager positions at Marriott International and across our portfolio which led her into a Vice President, Operations role at the Home Office where she oversaw a dynamic portfolio of properties across the country. While serving as general manager at the Residence Inn Denver Downtown, Jan helped develop the incredibly successful PJ Party and PJ Day fundraisers, which raised over $1 million for the Denver’s Road Home program. 

Prior to joining us at Sage, Jan spent 19 years with Marriott, including serving as Director of Sales and General Manager for the Residence Inn brand. She helped develop and sustain the brand’s culture while sitting on the National Residence Inn Culture Council. 

A graduate of the University of Kansas, she volunteers a good amount of her time in leadership positions supporting her community, including serving on the board for the Cherry Creek North BID, acting as Chairman of the Cherry Creek North BID Marketing Committee and sitting on the board of the Girl Scouts of Colorado.
