
When wildfires tore through the Los Angeles area in early 2025, the devastation was swift and staggering. Families were displaced, homes were destroyed, and first responders were pushed to their limits.
In response, Sage Hospitality Group quickly mobilized to do what we do best: care for people. Our associates opened hotel doors to displaced families. They served meals to frontline responders. They gathered essential supplies, donated their time, and came together in powerful, purposeful ways.
Beyond on-the-ground support, we made the decision to direct all funds raised through our two primary impact platforms, Dollars for Dreams and Hungry to Help, to wildfire relief efforts. That included donations from Sage hotels and the Home Office, as well as proceeds from the silent auction at our 2025 Sage Leadership Festival.
In total, the Sage community raised $45,030.17. Every dollar is being donated to GoFundMe.org’s Wildfire Relief Fund, which provides emergency shelter, food, clothing, and long-term recovery support to those impacted by the fires.
This effort reflects our core value of Give with Heart, serving communities with compassion to create meaningful impact. It also exemplifies one of the key pillars of our You Belong platform, Encouraging Success, by uplifting those in need and strengthening our emotional connection to the communities we serve.
Our people once again reminded us that hospitality is more than a business. It’s a calling. Through their kindness and courage, they enriched lives at a time when hope was in short supply.
