We are proud to share that Sage has been selected to manage The Ritz-Carlton, Indianapolis, a signature hotel in a new mixed use sports and entertainment district that broke ground this week in downtown Indianapolis. This exciting development brings together luxury hospitality, live entertainment, culinary experiences and community gathering spaces in the heart of the city.
The project is being developed by Boxcar Development LLC with the Simon family, in partnership with Marriott International and Live Nation. Together we are creating a vibrant destination that serves both local residents and visitors alike.
The Ritz-Carlton Indianapolis will rise 15 stories and feature 176 guest rooms, including executive and deluxe suites, elevated dining and lounge experiences, a spa and fitness center, an outdoor terrace and more than 11,500 square feet of flexible ballroom and meeting space. A third-floor pedestrian bridge will connect the hotel directly to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, weaving hospitality and entertainment into one seamless experience.
Adjacent to the hotel, Live Nation will operate a new 4,000 capacity music venue designed to bring year-round live performances and cultural energy to the district.
This project builds on our expertise in creating hospitality destinations alongside stadiums and entertainment venues, where hospitality, sports and culture come together to create places people want to be before and after events. Stadium adjacent hotels like The Rally Hotel at McGregor Square in Denver, located across from Coors Field, have become a model for this kind of experience, showing how thoughtfully integrated hotels can elevate the energy of a district, activate surrounding neighborhoods and attract visitors year round.
With the addition of The Ritz-Carlton, Indianapolis, we continue to expand our footprint in distinctive destination hospitality. We remain the only franchise operator of The Ritz-Carlton brand in the United States, now with two Ritz-Carlton hotels under management, underscoring our deep expertise in luxury hotel operations and our commitment to creating memorable experiences in vibrant places.
