Dairy Block alley with people dining outdoors and a woman carrying a tray
All places

This historic block, located in downtown Denver’s LoDo neighborhood, was developed by Sage, McWhinney, and Grand American in 2017. The site was once home to Windsor Dairy and a lumber yard - at its core, it was a place for makers. Dairy Block is our aspirational celebration of the power of makers and is the ethos of this vibrant micro-district. Dairy Block is home to the Maven Hotel, a 172-key independent hotel named for somebody who is an expert in their craft, Denver’s first activated alley, 11 shops, 19 restaurants, eight bars, and creative office space. The award-winning project was designed and operates for the people who live, work, and play in Denver — with a robust calendar of activations and community events, like rotating live music, art shows, and makers’ markets.
