A new chapter is underway at Sage Hospitality Group.

We are proud to share that Daniel del Olmo has been named President and Chief Executive Officer, becoming the third CEO in our company’s history. This transition reflects a thoughtful, multi-year succession plan designed to ensure continuity of purpose, leadership stability and long-term value creation.

It also reflects something deeper. The strength of our culture. The depth of our leadership bench. And our commitment to building a company designed to endure.

Built to endure

When we founded Sage in 1984, we did so with a belief that hospitality can enrich lives. Over four decades, that belief has guided us as we have grown into one of the nation’s most respected hospitality companies, blending operational discipline with creative vision and deep community connection. We remain focused on creating places people go to, not through.

Daniel joined Sage in early 2020 with a clear path toward executive leadership. Over the past six years, he has assumed increasing responsibility across the enterprise, most recently serving as Co-CEO. He has led enterprise strategy, performance, operations and owner relations across our portfolio with clarity, rigor and heart.

As Walter shared, Daniel has demonstrated the leadership discipline, financial strength and cultural alignment necessary to guide Sage into its next chapter. He understands who we are, what we stand for and how we create lasting value for our partners.

Leading the next chapter

“It is an honor to lead Sage into its next chapter,” Daniel said. “What makes this company exceptional is not only what we build, but the people who bring those experiences to life every day. Our associates are the heart of Sage.”

That belief sits at the center of our future.

As we continue to grow, we remain committed to investing in our talent, delivering industry-leading results, deepening owner partnerships and evolving how we design and operate distinctive properties rooted in their communities. When we invest in our people and remain grounded in purpose, performance follows.

Under Daniel’s leadership, we will continue operating at the forefront of experiential hospitality, elevating how we design, activate and operate properties that create lasting impact for associates, guests and partners alike.

Continued partnership from our founders

This transition signals evolution.

Walter Isenberg will assume the role of Executive Chairman of the Board, remaining actively engaged in culture, strategy and growth. He will continue contributing to the parts of the business he is most passionate about while empowering Daniel and our leadership team to lead the day-to-day.

Zack Neumeyer will become Chairman Emeritus and Vice Chairman of the Board, remaining closely involved in long-term strategy, capital formation and board leadership.

Sage was built to endure beyond any one individual. This moment reflects the discipline of our planning and the resilience of our culture.

Our purpose remains unchanged

Our foundation is steady. Our direction is clear.

We will continue nurturing our You Belong culture, pursuing quality growth and strengthening operational excellence across our portfolio. We will continue creating and operating distinctive properties rooted in their communities and driven by purpose.

And we will continue advancing our vision of redefining how the world experiences hospitality, positioning Sage as the hospitality industry’s most sought-after Experience Company.

This is not simply a leadership transition.

It is the continuation of a story we are building together.
